Car Park Operating Rules

I. General Rules for Using the Car Park

  1. The provisions of Act No. 8/2009 Coll. on Road Traffic on Public Roads apply to all parking areas.
  2. Parking of motor vehicles is subject to a fee according to the price list. The fee is paid at the Thermalpark cashier, via parking payment machines, or bank terminals located at the exit barriers.
  3. Motor vehicles are permitted to park only in designated spaces, i.e., those marked with horizontal traffic markings.
  4. The parking system is equipped with license plate control.
  5. Exit from the car park is possible only after paying the determined fee.
  6. Motor vehicles hindering normal operation in the car park or vehicles placed in the car park areas in violation of these Parking Rules will be removed from the car park premises at the expense of the owners of these vehicles.
  7. The car park is unguarded; we are not liable for items left inside the vehicle.

II. Rights and Obligations of the Car Park User

  1. The relationship between the operator and the user under these operating rules begins upon the user’s entry into the car park area and the acceptance of a parking ticket. It ends upon the vehicle’s exit from the car park after paying the fee for the provided services. By taking a parking ticket and entering the car park, the user expresses their consent to the car park’s operating rules.
  2. The user is entitled to:
    2.1. Park the vehicle in one parking box.
    2.2. Park for a duration they deem appropriate during operating hours.
    2.3. Request a receipt for payment for services provided, containing data on the date of parking in addition to tax document requisites.
    2.4. Use the car park area exclusively for the purpose of parking.
  3. The user is obliged to:
    3.1. Observe the operating rules of the THERMALPARK DS car park.
    3.2. Take a parking ticket upon entry to the car park and keep it carefully.
    3.3. Follow traffic signage, navigation, and information signs when moving within the car park.
    3.4. Lock and secure the vehicle, and not leave any valuables or items that are not commonly stored in a vehicle inside.
    3.5. Leave the car park area and ensure that no person remains inside the vehicle during the parking period.
    3.6. Pay the parking fee before leaving the car park at the THERMALPARK DS cashier or at a parking machine.
    3.7. Leave the car park area with the vehicle by 9:15 PM (does not apply to Fortune pension customers).
    3.8. In case of loss of the parking ticket, pay a parking fee in the form of a lost ticket fee of 20 EUR (VAT included) at the THERMALPARK DS cashier.
    3.9. Reimburse damage caused by their actions to other users or the car park operator.

III. Rights and Obligations of the Car Park Operator

  1. The operator is obliged to:
    1.1. Ensure the operation of the car park in accordance with these operating rules and other generally valid and known regulations.
    1.2. Warn the user if the car park capacity is full prior to entry, and not allow the parking of a number of vehicles exceeding the car park’s capacity.
    1.3. Allow the customer to familiarize themselves with the operating rules, operating hours, and prices for provided services by publishing them in a visible place within the car park premises.
  2. The operator is entitled to:
    2.1. Request compliance with these operating rules from the customer.
    2.2. Refuse entry to the car park to vehicles whose technical condition does not correspond to valid legal regulations on road traffic, vehicles without a license plate number, vehicles with snow chains or studded tires, and other vehicles that may damage the operator’s property.
    2.3. Refuse entry to trucks, caravans, and vehicles with trailers, as well as vehicles whose dimensions differ from the standard for which the car park traffic was designed.
    2.4. Install a device to immobilize the vehicle, or give an order for its towing at the user’s expense, if the user acts in violation of the operating rules, including cases where the user parks the vehicle in such a way that it forms an obstacle to traffic in the car park, in reserved boxes, in boxes reserved for the disabled (ZŤP), outside a marked parking box, or across multiple marked parking boxes.
    2.5. Claim compensation for damage caused in cases mentioned in point 2.4 up to the amount of 50 times the maximum daily parking fee.
    2.6. Claim compensation for any damage caused by the user to the operator or a third party within the car park premises.

IV. Liability for Damage

  1. The operator is not liable to the user for damage incurred in the car park, including theft of the vehicle or its parts caused by a third party.
  2. The operator is not liable for items left in the vehicle, nor for freely detachable parts of the vehicle.

V. Car Park Operational Safety It is strictly prohibited in the car park to:

  1. Stay without a valid parking ticket.
  2. Place any items other than motor vehicles.
  3. Perform any vehicle repairs, including washing the exterior and interior of the vehicle.
  4. Dispose of waste outside the containers designated for this purpose.
